On December 15th hundreds of children enjoyed the holiday cheer thanks to She’s Happy Hair and the She’s Happy Foundation. We distributed brand-new toys and run holiday-themed activities for youth in every city that operates a She’s Happy Hair storefront location.
Warren Broadnax and Marcus Bowers the Founders of She’s Happy Hair will have a black Santa on site at each and every She’s Happy Hair location across the U.S. Broadnax stated “It’s not just about the color of Santa for us. We want children to have an opportunity to see a Santa that looks like them, celebrating with them and helping to make this a special time of year. We want this to be something those that are less fortunate will remember for years to come.”
“It’s the most rewarding thing,” Bowers stated. “With this holiday toy giveaway, we are able to make the season a little brighter for some of our young people that would not have had the opportunity to celebrate. Every year we are able to help hundreds of children and we want this event to grow into something bigger to be able to help the entire community”.
This event is just one of She’s Happy Hair and the She’s Happy Foundation many community projects that are presented to the public free of charge.
